About Libby

EJ Home Physiotherapy is the private practice of Chartered Physiotherapist Elisabeth (Libby) Jarman. I am fully registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. I provide personalised, evidence-based physiotherapy to help people stay strong, independent and confident in their own homes.

My approach is centred on listening and building a strong therapeutic relationship. I focus on what matters most to you, using robust clinical evidence to guide treatment and support meaningful, achievable goals.

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1993 and have worked across independent rehabilitation hospitals, community services and the NHS. My experience includes orthopaedic, neurological and older adult rehabilitation, falls prevention, respiratory care and long-term condition management. I also have specialist expertise in Multiple Sclerosis, developed through my work as a research physiotherapist and completion of a Masters in Clinical and Health Research.

Initial Assessment

All physiotherapy consultations begin with an initial assessment. This is a one to one session in your own home, designed to fully understand your needs, goals and symptoms. Time is taken to listen carefully, assess thoroughly and create a personalised plan to support your recovery, mobility and confidence.

Follow-Up Appointment

Follow-up physiotherapy visits are designed to support your ongoing progress, review how you are getting on, and adjust treatment as needed. These sessions build on your initial assessment, helping you continue to move with greater confidence, comfort and independence at home.

Ask Libby - Online Consultation

‘Ask Libby’ is an online physiotherapy advice service offering clear, honest guidance when you need reassurance or direction but may not require a face-to-face appointment. It provides a supportive space to discuss pain, movement, recovery and next steps with an experienced physiotherapist.
